     Robbins Music Center has been providing parents, school band programs, and musicians with the very best product lines and services since 1955. We carry the name brand instruments and supplies that are recommended by your music teachers and band directors to enhance the learning experience for all students of music.

New Instruments: Your instrument may be rented month to month at an affordable rate until the full retail value of the horn plus interest has been collected (usually 12-36 months). At this point, the instrument becomes yours. Don't be fooled by those other stores who claim not to charge interest on their rentals. THEY DO! They simply mask it by including it in the total price along with addition fees. With us, there are no tricks and no gimmicks. Remember, we have spent the last 55+ years building our reputation and tailoring a program to best serve our customers needs. We believe in giving our customers the ability to make educated decisions by laying all the information out on the table. Should you decide to purchase the instrument early rather than continue making monthly payments, we will offer a discount on the remaining balance of the horn. If you pay of the balance three months, all payments will be applied towards the purchase of the instrument at its sale price. In other words, pay for your instrument within the first three months and receive a 20% discount on the remaining balance, credit for all payments made, and no finance charge!!

Used Instruments: We typically have a supply of rental returns in stock These are new instruments that have been rented out previously but returned to us for whatever reason. Our maintenance facility inspects all rental returns to ensure that they are in good playing condition before returning them to the rental pool. Rest assured, our rental return instruments are as good as new. A rental return can be purchased outright or rented for a flat rate of $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, or $50 per month depending on its wholesale value.

Our in-house repair department will keep your instrument in excellent condition, and our professional music representatives regularly visit your school in order to service your student's instrument for repair and deliver accessories if needed (saving you the trip here). Whether you decide to rent or purchase your instrument, we have your maintenance covered by offering a full and comprehensive Maintenance and Protection Plan for an additional monthly fee. Renters even get the added benefit of a replacement agreement throughout the lease period that will insure the instrument against theft, fire, and accidental damage.

Should your student desire to switch to a different instrument midway through the year, have no fear. You are allowed to exchange the first instrument with another instrument without penalty at any time. Your payments may change, but all the payments you made in the first three months on the first instrument will be applied towards the second instrument. If your student happens to decide to switch after the first three months of the lease period (Rest assured, this predicament rarely happens. Statistically, if your student is still playing his initial instrument after three months, you can pretty much rest assured they will stick with it), we will still pledge to apply the 75% of all rental payments from the first instrument towards the second instrument just in case.

We understand the uncertainty surrounding most parents when presented with the expense of a band instrument for a student that may or may not stick with band. That why our plan allows for you to terminate your rental at any time without penalty simply by returning your instrument to us and as long as your payments are up-to-date. If you decide to return your instrument and cannot bring it to our store, give it to your music teacher or notify us and our representative will pick it up at your school. And please, feel free to call us if you ever have a problem. We really are here to insure your student has a positive experience in band. No one wants to prevent a student who is demonstrating a true passion for music from reaching his full potential.

    Music is an investment in the future! Studies by Music Educators throughout the country have shown that children involved in musical programs perform significantly better in math, science, English and social studies. They also tend to exhibit more desirable behavior than children who have not participated in musical programs. So get involved!

We carry only the top products, recommended by top band directors. Why does this matter? A quality band instrument can mean the difference between a student hating band or excelling at band. As mentioned above, excelling in band can result in college scholarships and the self-confidence needed to succeed in life. A quality instrument is made better, feels better, sounds better, and plays easier than a Wal-Mart special. More importantly, they can be repaired. NOTE: OUR REPAIR STAFF CANNOT REPAIR OFF-BRAND INSTRUMENTS!!! We have tried. They are made too poorly.
